The nose opens on wild herbs, crushed stone and pineapple, with a touch that recalls the great Jurançons. The texture is vinous and vibrant, carried by fine bitters. A soothing, contemplative white wine — one that’s clearly got more to say with time.

Blend of 40% Marsanne, 30% Roussanne, and 30% Clairette from vines coming from massal selection, averaging 35 years old, farmed organically with biodynamic practices, planted on Cretaceous limestone hillsides — from the very same parcel as Cornaline. The grapes were harvested by hand with low yields around 20 hl/ha. Natural vinification: total destemming, direct pressing of the whole clusters, fermentation in egg-shaped concrete vats followed by 12 months of aging on the lees in these same vessels.
