Condrieu Côte Châtillon - 2024 - Domaine Bonnefond
Christophe & Léa Bonnefond
Powerful and complex nose with notes of apricot, pineapple, honey, frangipane, subtle vanilla, and a delicate hint of oak. The palate lives up to the nose, powerful, spherical, slightly oxidative, with well-integrated oak and a very long finish. Pair it with a nice piece of meat in sauce.

100% Viognier from vines planted on the Côte Chatillon in Condrieu, on a one-hectare plot with granitic soils. The grapes were harvested by hand. Vinification: direct pressing, settling of the must for 12 hours, alcoholic fermentation in barrels at a controlled temperature of 18°C, on fine lees. Aged in these same barrels for 9 months, with 30% new oak, stirring of the lees once a week, malolactic fermentation completed. Bottled at the estate.
