Nose with notes of blackberry and blackcurrant, soft spices... Palate: the tannic structure perfectly supports the density of the wine without taking away its bright fruitiness. Great great price/enjoyment ratio!
Blend of 80% Grenache Noir from 26-year-old vines on clay-limestone soils and 20% Syrah from 30-year-old vines on clay-sandy soils: the two grape varieties are harvested by hand and go through 12 days of semi-carbonic co-maceration in concrete tanks, with a few treading by foot. Only the press juice goes into this cuvée, which will be aged for 7 months, 70% in vats and 30% in oak barrels. Bottled on April 21st 2022 without fining, filtration or any addition of sulfites.
