A lovely Côtes-du-Rhône Village from the village of Visan. From Matthieu’s négoce business, drawing on grapes from a selection of vignerons all working biodynamically on the terroir of Visan, with clay limestone soils. A blended cuvée of Mourvèdre, Grenache Noir and Syrah cultivated Biodynamically. Manual harvest. Vinification: 100% destemmed, vinified with indigenous yeasts, short fermentation, without sulfur, 10 months of aging in vats. Bottled at the beginning of Summer 2023 with 2 g/hl of sulphur, and neither filtered nor fined.

Matthieu Barret
Matthieu Barret has been making wine at Domaine du Coulet since 1998. It was Stéphane Tissot , one of Jura's most famous vignerons, who first gave Barret the nickname "Petit Ours Brun" (little brown bear), and it quickly caught on among his vigneron peers, and even found its way onto his wine labels, such as his red and white cuvées Petit Ours Brun and Petit Ours Blanc.
