Le Col du Loup - 2020 - Cyril Fhal
Clos du Rouge Gorge
A wine of incredible finesse, with an ultra-floral nose and a velvety palate... Decidedly one of the most beautiful wines produced at the estate, or in all of Roussillon for that matter. If you manage to lay this down for a few years, you will be well rewarded.

100% Grenache from vines cultivated organically and planted on an East-facing slope with schist soils. The parcel was planted in 2014 only after the soil was painstaking prepared by Cyril over a period of... eight years (!!!). Needless to say, each vine is pampered individually, and harvested by hand. The vinification is natural and without additives: crushing of the whole clusters for infusion, soft pressing, end of fermentation and 23 months of aging in Burgundy barrels. Bottled without added sulfites. Only 734 bottles produced.
