Erythrite - 2023 - Brice Omont
Domaine des Ardoisières
We've rarely been this blown away by a Mondeuse! A nose of blackberry jam, blueberry tart, violet, with a touch of pepper and sweet spices... On the palate, concentrated and carried by fine tannins, leading to a long, delicious finish.

First vintage for this cuvée from a brand-new terroir of the estate! 100% Mondeuse from organically farmed vines, planted on the Arbin hillside. Clay-limestone soils with traces of red clay, southeast exposure. Manual harvest, yields around 25 hl/ha. Natural vinification: maceration with at least 50% whole clusters, gentle pressing, 14 months of aging in amphorae, casks, and barrels, with 15% new oak. Bottled at the estate with just a micro-dose of sulfur.
