100% Riesling from old vines grown organically and planted on pink granite soils. A cuvée produced thanks to grapes purchased from winegrowers who share the same values. The grapes were harvested by hand and naturally vinified: direct pressing of the whole bunches, vinification and aging in demi-muids barrels that have seen several wines, for over three years. Bottled without fining or filtration, with no added sulfites. Maturation for one more year in bottles in the Ganevat cellars.
Jean François Ganevat
Jean-François Ganevat represents the 14th generation of vignerons of his family in Rotalier, in the south of Jura. After years working as the cellar master of Jean-Marc Morey in Chassagne-Montrachet, he took over his family’s estate in 1998.
