A dark red robe. A nose with aromas of red fruits (raspberry, cherry). Palate: fruity, lightly sparkling, with a lingering finish. Fred says this “unconventional cuvée” stands for “purity, roots and the raw and unadulterated.” Captain Harlock drinks it for breakfast!

100% Cabernet Franc from nearly 30-year-old vines, farmed organically and planted on deep gravel soils, covering a total of one hectare. Harvested by hand in small and perforated crates. Natural vinification: the whole clusters are transferred by gravity into stainless steel vats, fermentation in vats with foot-treading, gentle pressing, malolactic fermentation also in stainless steel, then bottled quickly after the end of fermentations. Unfined, unfiltered, no added sulphites.
