100% Pinot Noir from vines planted in the Premier Cru Passetemps, where the marl-limestone soils also show a good iron content, clearly visible in their reddish-brown hue. Hand-harvested and naturally vinified: gentle whole-cluster maceration, soft pressing, aged in egg-shaped concrete vats. Bottled at the estate of Laure and Fred Cossard in Saint-Romain, without fining, filtration, or any added sulphites.
