Blanc de Blancs - Champagne Hugues Godmé
Hugues & Lucille Godmé
Complex nose with notes of lemon, flowers, and brioche — utterly seductive. On the palate, fine bubbles and lovely tension; the volume perfectly supports the layered aromatics through the mouth. A pure, mouthwatering finish. A striking and successful pairing with a seafood platter.

100% Chardonnay from biodynamically farmed vines planted on clay-limestone soils in Villers-Marmery and Ville-Dommange, both Premier Cru villages on the Montagne de Reims. Hand-harvested, with 50% of the fermentation taking place in oak barrels and 40% undergoing malolactic fermentation. Bottled in April 2021, this cuvée is a blend of 40% from the 2020 harvest and 60% reserve wines, including 30% from a perpetual reserve started in 2014. Aged nearly three years on the lees, disgorged in February 2024. Unfined, unfiltered, zero dosage, this is a brut nature.
