Grand Cru - 2013 - Champagne Hugues Godmé
Hugues & Lucille Godmé
Powerful nose of dried fruits, especially hazelnut and pecan, followed by green apple, apricot, and a generous slice of buttery brioche. On the palate: rich and ample with a vinous character, a saline finish, and a subtle hint of vanilla. A Champagne crafted for gastronomy.

2013 vintage: a long winter followed by a fantastic summer brought great concentration and maturity. 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir from biodynamically farmed vines in Verzy and Verzenay, Montagne de Reims terroirs with clay-limestone soils. Manual harvest, 40% fermented in oak barrels, 18 months aging before bottling in April 2015. Then aged on lees for over 9 years until disgorgement in October 2024. Unfined, unfiltered, and zero dosage, this is a brut nature.

Hugues and Lucille Godmé
