Parcellaire Les Romaines - 2012 - Champagne Hugues Godmé
Hugues & Lucille Godmé
Meunier at its finest, revealing notes of pear, pineapple, yellow peach, toasted bread and a hint of vanilla. On the palate: pure pleasure, with a perfectly balanced texture between richness and freshness. Long finish, chalky and saline.

100% Pinot Meunier from a 0.39-hectare parcel planted in 1998 in Villedommange, with a southeast exposure and clay-silica soils. Organically farmed (still in conversion at the time). Hand-harvested, fermented and aged exclusively in oak barrels until April 2014. Champagne made solely from the 2012 harvest. Long ageing on lees for nearly 10 years, disgorged in October 2023. Unfined, unfiltered, zero dosage, this is a brut nature.
