Grand Cru Rosé - Champagne Hugues Godmé
Hugues & Lucille Godmé
Perfumed nose with notes of red berries: redcurrant, tart cherry, raspberry and cranberry, lifted by a touch of honey, chalky nuances and pastry notes. Lively effervescence, the palate is highly aromatic with a subtle mineral edge. Long, fresh and airy finish.

65% Pinot Noir (including 2% still red wine AOC Coteaux Champenois) and 35% Chardonnay, from vines farmed biodynamically and planted on the clay-limestone soils of Verzy and Verzenay, on the Montagne de Reims. Hand-harvested, with 40% of the base wines fermented in oak barrels and 50% undergoing malolactic fermentation. This Champagne is composed of 50% from the 2020 harvest, 30% from 2019, and 20% from 2018. Bottled in April 2021, then aged on lees in bottle until disgorgement in February 2024. Unfined, unfiltered, and zero dosage, this is a brut nature.
