Montagne Nord - Champagne Hugues Godmé
Hugues & Lucille Godmé
A true favourite — this is a gastronomic Champagne with fine bubbles and aromas of pear compote with cardamom, fresh almond, and buttery brioche. The palate is balanced, precise, delicate, and mineral, yet also rich and fleshy. A real success.

60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay from biodynamically farmed vines planted on Grand Cru parcels in Verzy and Verzenay, grown on clay-limestone soils. Hand-harvested, with 80% of the fermentation carried out in oak barrels and 30% undergoing malolactic fermentation. A blend of vintages: 45% base wine from 2014, 35% from 2013, and 20% from 2012. Bottled in April 2015, followed by a long aging of nearly 8 years on lees. Disgorged in March 2023. Unfined, unfiltered, and zero dosage, this is a brut nature.
