La Charme - Champagne Goulard
Damien Goulard
“La Charme” is the name of the lieu-dit of the cellar, revealing through its aging creamy notes of vanilla, butter, fine wood, and wax... The palate is elegant, balanced, and structured, with a long finish. A perfect match for morel mushroom chicken.

100% Pinot Meunier from organic vines planted on the Massif de Saint-Thierry, with sandy soils and southeast exposure. Hand-harvested, direct pressing, vinified exclusively in barrels without new oak. Bottled in July 2022, this cuvée is mostly from the 2021 vintage, complemented with a small portion of reserve wines. Aged on lees, disgorged in March 2024. Extra brut, dosage at 5 grams per litre.

The exceptional quality of this terroir has been known for centuries — mentioned as early as 532 in the will of Saint-Rémy —...
