Coteaux Champenois Pharamond - Goulard
Damien Goulard
A powerful, complex and noble nose, with notes of raspberry, crushed strawberry, cherry, and a subtle touch of vanilla lending a deliciously indulgent edge. On the palate: supple tannins support the wine’s fine structure beautifully, delivering a profile that is both powerful and velvety.

Pinot Meunier from vines over 35 years old, farmed organically (though not yet certified at the time), planted in sandy soils in Prouilly. Hand-harvested, fully destemmed, with fermentation taking place in tanks using gentle punch-downs and pump-overs. Pressed, then aged half in old tonneaux and half in very low-porosity ceramic amphorae. For this cuvée, blending of the 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2022 vintages. Bottled at the estate in January 2025. Pharamond was the first king of the Franks, and legend has it his tomb lies in Prouilly.
