Champagne Les Fortes Terres - 2019 - Cédric Moussé
Champagne Moussé
A true standout during the tasting — concentrated and fruit-forward on the nose, bursting with green apple, pear, and white peach, wrapped in honey and lifted by notes of marzipan, hazelnut, and brioche. A powerful, taut, and complex Champagne with a long, mineral finish.

100% Pinot Meunier from four parcels on the Les Fortes Terres terroir in Cuisles — sloping, shallow soils where green clay lies just beneath the surface. Hand-harvested in vegetable crates, micro-vinified reductively in small stainless steel vats. Tirage, then close to four years ageing on laths, disgorged on January 15th, 2024. Dosage at 3 grams per litre. Unfined, unfiltered, and just a micro-touch of sulfur (12 mg/l total), a handcrafted mined sulfur made in-house.
