Classic Poulsard vibes: bursting with red fruit, wild strawberries, and tangy cherry, with a hint of spice. Silky on the palate, just like the nose suggests, with juicy acidity and ultra-fine but still present tannins. The finish? Smooth as hell.
100% Poulsard from old vines planted between 1936 and 1960, farmed biodynamically. A 2.4-hectare plot facing southeast, with Triassic clay soils, from the lieux-dits *Les Bruyères* and *La Mailloche*. Hand-harvested, fully destemmed by hand, three months of maceration in foudres, then aged in 600L demi-muids. Unfined, unfiltered, with just a micro-dose of sulfur.
Stéphane Tissot took over the beautiful family estate from André and Mireille Tissot in 1990, and in over thirty years has accomplished a colossal task to reach the summit of the Jura and become a model far beyond the borders of France.
