A powerful, flattering and very harmonious nose, carried by notes of red fruit, sun-warmed pine needles, cinnamon and raisins. Palate: pronounced and very pleasant freshness, beautiful suppleness and fine tannins, long and persistent finish. Decanting recommended.

A blend of two plots, Casa and Mata, both organically farmed and surrounded by forests, showing respectively clay and granite soils with quartz, and granitic sandy soils. A co-plantation of 49 indigenous grape varieties, including Alvarelhão, Alfrocheiro, Touriga Nacional, Baga, Tinta Amarela... The grapes were harvested by hand. Vinification: total destemming, 6 days of maceration, pressing, fermentation in large open top granite vats (called lagar in Portugal), 18 months of aging in French oak barrels, without new oak.
