A magnificent, very elegant wine with notes of strawberry, rose, orange zest, pepper, and menthol. It also leaves a big impression on the palate, revealing itself to be deep and concentrated, floral, and very long. Decanting is recommended.
A blend of vintages; as always with Muleta, this cuvée is produced from three plots located 500 meters apart, at the top of a hill facing South, West, and East. Field blend of centennial bush vines, featuring traditional red grape varieties of the region. The grapes were harvested by hand. Vinification: total destemming, crushing, 6 days of maceration, pressing, fermentation in large open granite vats (called lagar in Portugal), 18 months of aging in French oak barrels, without new oak. Bottled at the estate.
