100% Syrah, the grapes come from a 2.2-ha parcel known as Les Bâties, composed of 30-year-old vines grown on clay, facing southwest on a gentle slope. Vinification is traditional with whole cluster grapes, with a small portion crushed to help start the fermentations. Maceration for 12 days, without additives, with a little punching down of the cap, maturation in demi-muids and barrels that have seen several wines. Neither fined nor filtered, bottled without added sulphur between August and October depending on the cuvée.
