Joanna - 2016 - Bernard Duseigneur
A cuvée produced in the best vintages, which gives a highly charming wine with notes of cherry, leather, garrigue, spices... Beautiful texture, lots of volume, supported by a serious tannic structure. Decanting is mandatory.

100% Grenache Noir from centenary old vines, up to 135 years old, among the oldest in the appellation, planted in the lieu-dit Les Colombis, on soils mainly of sands and limestone pebbles. The vines are grown biodynamically and harvested by hand, with low yields around 15 hl/ha. Five weeks of maceration in concrete vats, 24 months of aging in demi-muids of several wines. Bottled without filtration, sensible use of sulfites.
