Antarès - 2022 - Domaine Duseigneur

Bernard Duseigneur

A profound wine with notes of blueberry, blackberry, crushed strawberry, cocoa, white pepper and a subtle hint of wood. The palate is rich and warm, with fine tannins and a long, velvety, jammy fruit finish. Worth decanting.

60% Grenache and 40% Mourvèdre, from 50-year-old vines farmed biodynamically and planted on deep sand and sandstone soils at 160 metres altitude. From selected parcels grown on north-facing slopes at the western end of the Lirac appellation. Bottled without fining or filtration, and sparing use of sulphur.
