A label illustrated by the great Michel Tolmer is always a foretaste of good things to come! A divine wine, with a nose of crushed red berries, strawberry and redcurrant... The palate is lip smacking, thirst quenching and smooth. Seigneur means “Lord”, and this is noble nectar indeed!
Bernard Duseigneur
Bernard Duseigneur arrived 20 years ago at the eponymous estate founded by his father, a true wine enthusiast who had just returned from Portugal. A beautiful family story that passes on from father to son, since Bernard initially worked with his brother, who eventually returned to his first passion: music, with his band Minha Terra (who happens to be a super nice cuvée at the Domaine!). The Chai Duseigneur is located in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the whole estate is about 30 hectares, all certified in Organic Farming since 1997, and biodynamic with Biodyvin since 2002. Minimalist practices in the vineyard, which naturally continue in the cellar with a very “fruit-forward” approach, without a lot of intervention, and sulfur-free experiments since 2011, thanks to Adrien De Mello (who was an intern at Duseigneur at the time), who founded his Domaine de La Petite Sœur in the Loire since then. The intentions are noble and the result in the glass exceeds our expectations. Bravo!
A nose with notes of blackcurrant, cocoa, tobacco and white pepper. A rich, powerful, and velvety palate, with great length. A classic, but no less perfect pairing for a cheese platter! Decanting is recommended.
A profound wine with notes of blueberry, blackberry, crushed strawberry, cocoa, white pepper and a subtle hint of wood. The palate is rich and warm, with fine tannins and a long, velvety, jammy fruit finish. Worth decanting.
Blackberry, black cherry, dried flowers, garrigue, and sweet spices... Unctuous, generous palate, with great aromatic purity, and a long finish with a hint of morello cherry liqueur. A warm vintage but beautifully balanced. Immense pleasure for the price! Decanting is a must.
A rich, complex nose with notes of blackcurrant, leather, long pepper, and hints of vanilla and undergrowth. The palate is powerful and well-balanced, fleshy and velvety, with a long, fresh finish, which all makes for an eminently drinkable wine, especially for such a sunny juice!
A cuvée produced in the best vintages, which gives a highly charming wine with notes of cherry, leather, garrigue, spices... Beautiful texture, lots of volume, supported by a serious tannic structure. Decanting is mandatory.
“This one you absolutely have to taste,” says Bernard Duseigneur! Power, elegance, black fruits, sweet spices, pepper, truffle, garrigue… An enveloping palate with ripe, expressive tannins, and a very long finish. Decanting is a must — one hour before tasting.

A label illustrated by the great Michel Tolmer is always a foretaste of good things to come! Nose of citrus fruits and white fruits, lively and frank bubbles, the palate is fresh and very thirst-quenching. Perfect for all your aperitifs: Seigneur means “Lord”, a noble nectar indeed!
Wine of pleasure and friends, the very definition of a “spring wine”: fresh, crisp fruit, thirst-quenching, on notes of raspberry and redcurrant, with a floral touch. Supple palate, almost without tannins, super fresh. The perfect bottle to pop open at budburst — a nod to its name!
