Rhône Valley
Odyssée - 2020 - Bernard Duseigneur
Domaine Duseigneur
A nose with notes of blackcurrant, cocoa, tobacco and white pepper. A rich, powerful, and velvety palate, with great length. A classic, but no less perfect pairing for a cheese platter! Decanting is recommended.

60% Grenache and 40% Syrah, from 30-year-old vines farmed biodynamically in the Gard, in the village of Saint Victor Lacoste. The vines are planted in sandy-clay soils on the north face of the slope – the part most exposed to the wind. The plot is bordered by a dense swathe of forest that isolates it from the outside. Neither fined nor filtered, and only a small dose of sulphur.
