Sakura - 2023 - Duseigneur
Bernard Duseigneur
Wine of pleasure and friends, the very definition of a “spring wine”: fresh, crisp fruit, thirst-quenching, on notes of raspberry and redcurrant, with a floral touch. Supple palate, almost without tannins, super fresh. The perfect bottle to pop open at budburst — a nod to its name!

Second vintage for this cuvée produced from 80% Syrah and 20% Cinsault, vines farmed organically and planted on clay-limestone soils. Hand-harvested. Natural vinification: whole-cluster carbonic maceration, both varieties together, little extraction, gentle pressing, short ageing in stainless steel (less than 6 months) before bottling in February 2024. Unfined, unfiltered, no added sulphites.
