100% Carignan Blanc from vineyards farmed and planted on soils of large pebbles over Villafranchian bedrock of ancient sands and limestone, in the commune of Bellegarde in the Gard. The grapes are harvested by hand using 15 kg crates, with yields kept under control. The vinification is natural and without additives: direct pressing, fermentation with indigenous yeasts in large barrels, 9 months of maturation on the lees in old oak casks of 15 hl. Neither fined nor filtered, and just a microdose of sulphur at bottling.
