Prima Vera - 2021 - Julien Mary

A cuvée almost 100% Grenache Noir from 45-year-old organic vines, very slightly co-planted with Carignan, on clay-limestone soils with quartz. This North-facing plot is located in the small town of Collias, near the river. Manual harvest, nine days of carbonic maceration, whole bunches, soft pressing, 7 months of aging in vats. Bottled at the Estate in April 2022 without fining or filtration, just a micro-dose of sulphur.
