Michèle’s son, Maxime-François Laurent, has set up a small structure to buy grapes from local vignerons who farm their vines organically. Blend: 1/3 Grenache, 1/3 Syrah and 1/3 Cinsault, from young 15- to 30-year old vines planted in the commune of Montbrison sur Lez. Clay and limestone soils. The grapes are harvested by hand. Vinification: 6 hours of maceration, gentle pressing, and six months of maturation in stainless steel tanks. Neither fined nor filtered, and zero added sulphur.

Her adventure began in 1978 when she bought 12 hectares of old vines in Montbrison with her husband Philippe Laurent. Vinification began in the first year and her first bottles were marketed in 1979.
