La Roque - 2021 - Fabien Jouves
Mas del Périé
Concentrated nose carried by notes of plum, blueberry, jammy blackberry, fig, sage, just a hint of vanilla... The palate is surprisingly very fresh and digestible, almost juicy (for a Cahors!), long and floral finish.

100% Malbec from 35-year-old vines, grown biodynamically, this cuvée is certified by Demeter. This is a plot selection at the top of the hills in Cahors appellation, at 350 meters above sea level, on brown clay soils from the Miocene era. Manual harvest and natural vinification. Total destemming, one month of maceration in vats, 6 months of aging in concrete tanks. Bottled at the Estate without fining nor filtration, no sulfur added.

His estate is certified organic by Ecocert and...All wines
