Technically, it’s a “blouge” (a blend of white and red), but what we have in the glass is a true red wine, driven by the exuberant fruitiness of the hybrids—that very fresh, almost floral quality—enhanced by the acidity of the whites. A nod to Loïc Lantoine’s song!
A blend of 2/3 hybrid varieties—half Plantet (planted in 2017) and half Chambourcin (planted in 2022)—with 1/3 Savagnin and Chardonnay. The grapes were harvested by hand and vinified naturally: the hybrid varieties were fully destemmed, followed by 6 days of co-maceration, pressing, and aging in stainless steel tanks. The blend was combined with the white wines (pressed directly), just before bottling in May 2025. Unfined, unfiltered, and with no added sulfites.
