A blend of mainly Sauvignon with a little Menu Pineau. From old, mostly ungrafted, massal selection vines grown on a flinty clay soil. It’s a beautiful ecosystem, where wild grasses are allowed to grow freely. The vines are cultivated with the least intervention possible; vine treatments are made from nettle, horsetail, flowers of sulphur and minute doses of Bordeaux mixture. Low yields of around 25 to 30 hl/ha, almost one year of aging without new oak. Neither fined nor filtered, and without added sulphites.
