For this cuvée produced from purchased grapes, Jean-François Ganevat and his sister Anne called on fellow winemakers who share their vision of natural wine. Rotagamète is a red wine produced from Gamay and Jura grape varieties. The vines are organically farmed and harvested by hand. Vinification: cold carbonic maceration, 10 months of aging in wooden casks that have already been used several wines. Unfined, unfiltered, no added sulfites. The wine is the aged in bottles in the Ganevat cellars.
Jean François Ganevat
Jean-François Ganevat represents the 14th generation of vignerons of his family in Rotalier, in the south of Jura. After years working as the cellar master of Jean-Marc Morey in Chassagne-Montrachet, he took over his family’s estate in 1998.
