A cuvée made from 50% Cabernet Franc and 50% Abouriou, a teinturier or ‘dyer’ grape variety, once used to add colour to other wines, and today very rare, originally from the southwest. From vines around thirty years old, cultivated organically and planted just behind the winery, on a terroir of schist. Vinification: a very short maceration of two days, in whole bunches, soft pressing, then 8 months of maturation in vats. Bottled at the Estate without fining or filtration, no added sulfites.
