A complex nose, a framework of black fruits warmed by long pepper, and balanced by a vegetal touch. Digestible and luscious mouth, nice velvety texture. 2021 is less powerful, but it's once again a real favorite!

2021, also known as the frost vintage at the Clos du Tue-Boeuf… Thus, it is a blend of three usual red Chevernys of the Estate: La Caillière, La Gravote and Rouillon. Mostly Pinot Noir, only the plot of Rouillon is also planted with Gamay on one hectare. Organic cultivation on flinty clay soils. Manual harvesting, vinification without any additives: semi-carbonic maceration, élevage in truncated oak barrels of a capacity of 30 hl. Unfined, unfiltered, bottled on May 3rd 2022, zero added sulfites.
