A blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grolleau and Pineau d'Aunis, all from vines farmed organically (though not certified) and planted on a parcel east of Saumur-Champigny, on clay-limestone soils with veins of flintstone that bring freshness and minerality. The vineyard site is known as “La Herpinière”, located in the commune of Turquant. A natural sparkling wine from hand-picked grapes and indigenous yeasts, bottled with residual sugar to create bubbles, disgorged on June 9, 2021. Neither fined nor filtered, and no added sulphites.
