This wine opens up with a superb nose featuring blueberry, red plum, and hints of iris flowers. On the palate, it is smooth, with fine, well-integrated tannins and a silky, velvety finish with subtle spice notes. Villemade for the win!

This is the first vintage for this cuvée, a blend of 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Gamay from 30-year-old vines taken over by Hervé in 2020, planted on clay-limestone soils in Chitenay, within the Cheverny appellation, on a 1.60-hectare plot.
