Pineau de Loire - 2021 - Thierry Puzelat
A nose with notes of pear, flowers and minerals... Palate: balanced and rich, with great volume. Tension and minerality. A very lovely bottle of wine.

100% Pineau de Loire (Chenin), from vines between 5 and 50 years old grown organically and planted on a flinty clay soil. Manual harvest, yields are around 35 hl/ha. Natural vinification without additives, and maturation for 6 months in vats. An unfiltered wine with very little sulphur, bottled at the Estate on the 24th of February, 2022.
Thierry Puzelat took over the family estate a few decades ago, 13 ha in Touraine, in the Loir-et-Cher. Time and a series of encounters would put him on the path to natural wines. Once decided, he went all in, determined to produce wines without artifice,...All wines
