Pinot Noir - 2021 - Hervé Villemade
A nose of red berries, black berries, and hints of iris flowers. Palate: fluid and fine, with well-integrated tannins. A frank Pinot made with good intentions, pure and ultra smooth! Watch out, this is a hot cuvée!

A 100% Pinot noir cuvée from grapes bought in… Alsace! The vines are grown organically, planted on granitic soils and harvested manually, and the whole clusters are brought back to the Estate in Loire Valley. Natural vinification in 5-hectoliter amphorae, and in 220-liter casks that have seen several wines. Bottled in August 2022 without fining or filtration, just a micro-dose of sulphur.
Hervé Villemade is a natural winemaker situated within the Cheverny appellation. Less of a media darling than his famous neighbour Thierry Puzelat , Hervé and his 25-hectare estate nonetheless have nothing to be shy about. You might say there’s a gentle and productive form of competition between them, a source of motivation perhaps... When the family estate was handed over to him in 1995,...All wines
