A 100% Chenin cuvée, from 60-year-old vines grown on carboniferous shales, in the area of La Roche, cultivated with the greatest respect for nature, and certified organic. Vinification: direct pressing, natural yeasts, and maturation for one year in casks that have seen several wines. Bottled at the Estate in September without fining or filtration, and zero added sulphur.
Jean-Christophe Garnier produces a short range of wines which can reset you palate in a sip. A rich Chenin, full bodied, open, stony, powerful... A Cabernet Franc that’s juicy, fruity and gourmand. And – considering the quality of the wines, and the commitment and sacrifice of this fine fellow – all at ridiculously low prices! There, we said it.
