Sancerre Rosé - 2019 - Paul Fouassier
Domaine Fouassier
Beautiful nose carried by notes of red fruits first, then mineral notes, notes of citrus and smoke... Palate: frank and fruity, with beautiful acidity, and a finish marked by grapefruit aromas.

A 100% Pinot Noir cuvée, from 30-year-old vines grown organically and biodynamically, certified since 2012. This is a blend of vines planted on several parcels with calcareous soils. Manual harvest and yield around 35 hl/ha. Vinification: direct pressing, fermentation and short aging in stainless steel vats. A light dose of sulphites is added for a result of 35 mg/liter of total SO2.
