Green apple, pear, honey, mineral structure, lactic hint. Fruity and round on the palate, with good volume and balance, this is a very pretty, highly drinkable Chenin!
100% Chenin from 40 to 50 years old vines, grown organically, planted in Thouars on clay-limestone soils and in Montlouis-sur-Loire on clay-siliceous soils. Harvested by hand in small crates. Natural vinification: direct pressing, fermentation and maturation for 10 months, 3/4 in barrels that have seen several wines and 1/4 in concrete tanks. Unfined and unfiltered, bottled in June 2023 with just a micro-dose of sulfur.
