A blend of half Carignan and half Mourvèdre, from vines farmed organically, using biodynamic methods, and planted at an altitude of 700 meters on black marl terraces. The grapes are harvested by hand, and the yields are kept low. Natural vinification: just three days of maceration, then a bit more of 10 months of maturation in concrete vats. Bottles at the estate, unfiltered, unfined, and zero added sulphur!

In France, he was one of the finest students of Gérard Gauby , thanks to whom he met Nathalie, Gérard’s sister, with whom he settled in 2001 in Calce, in a still unspoilt environment, where they founded the Domaine Matassa.
