A complex, evolving nose that has beautifully settled with these extra months of bottle ageing… notes of black fruit, spices, cinnamon and a hint of menthol. The palate is generous, round and elegant, while keeping an impressively high drinkability.

A 100% Grenache Noir cuvée, made from 50-year-old vines, grown organically (the whole of Le Bout du Monde is certified organic), and planted on gneiss soils, on a North-facing parcel. The grapes were harvested by hand. Vinification: the grapes are chilled to 4°C, followed by carbonic maceration of the whole clusters for 4 weeks with indigenous yeasts, soft pressing, then maturation in Burgundy barrels which have seen 6-7 wines. Bottled without fining nor filtration, only with a micro-dose of sulphur.

Edouard Laffitte jumped into viticulture after several years working at the cooperative of Estézargues in the Gard, where he met Jean-François Nicq of Domaine Les Foulard Rouges, with whom he’d discover natural wine.
