Pineau d'Aunis - 2024 - SARL Le Clos du Tue-Bœuf
Thierry Puzelat
A nose of raspberries and ground pepper... Tasting superb from the barrel, it will surely become closed for a time after bottling – will benefit from cellaring... The palate is concentrated, with a spicy finish – a superb wine.

100% Pineau d’Aunis from organically farmed vines, planted on sand and flinty clay soils, on a plot of 1 ha, 2/3rd coming from the Tue-Boeuf and 1/3rd coming from their negotiant business, so that grapes were bought to winemakers who share the same values. Manually harvested vines of 4- to 80 years old. Fermentation in truncated oak barrels, two weeks of semi-carbonic maceration, 7 months of aging in large casks and barrels, without new oak. Unfined, unfiltered, bottled on the 30th of April 2025, without added sulfites.
