Le Cirque - 2019 - Champagne Boonen

Julien Boonen

Superb, with great finesse, featuring white floral notes and a subtle hint of green, very elegant. The palate is balanced with notes of roasted apricot, marzipan, and quince jelly... A rich and complex Champagne that pairs wonderfully with exotic and spicy cuisine.

100% Pinot Meunier from old vines averaging 50 years old, planted in the Cirque de Festigny on clay-loam and limestone soils. Based on the 2019 vintage, this marks the Boonen family’s 110th harvest! Direct pressing, vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, with no additives except for a micro-dose of mineral sulfur. Bottled and aged for 24 months on slats. Dosage of 2.5 grams per liter, this is an extra-brut.
