Rhône Valley

Côte Rôtie "Les Binardes" - 2023 - Maison Stephan

Jean-Michel Stéphan

A complex, powerful, spicy wine with notes of black fruits, violets and liquorice. On the palate, it’s fresh, smooth, and well balanced. A very beautiful expression of the Syrah grape, with lovely minerality. It’s superb – and it’s natural.

The Binardes parcel is on the Côte Blonde, below the lieu-dit of Tupin. Hand-harvested, gently pressed, aged for 12 months in vats. Bottled on the Maison Stephan without fining or filtration, with no added sulfites.
