A blend of half Syrah—from two plots planted in 1962 and 2004 on granitic sandy soil—and half Carignan Noir planted in 2018 on a sandy-loam terroir rich in pebbles. The grapes were harvested by hand. Winemaking: short, 4-hour press of the whole clusters; fermentation in 10-hl tanks; aging for 4 months, with half in 500-liter barrels and the other half in 30-hl fiberglass tanks. Blending of the berrels and tanks and bottling without fining or filtration, with only a micro-dose of sulfur.
