Echézeaux Grand Cru - 2021 - Claire Naudin

100% Pinot noir from 34 ares parcel "Les Rouges du Bas", 40 years old vines planted on clay-limestone and sandy soils, in the heart of Grand Cru Echézeaux. The grapes are hand-harvested, and only in the morning. Whole bunches fermented in vats 15 days, with indigenous yeasts, and a little cap punching. Gentle pressing, blending of the free-run wine and the press wine. 15 months of aging on fine lees, in Burgundy barrels, with 60% new oak. Bottled at the Estate, by gravity, without fining nor filtration, during the Spring of 2023.
