A cuvée of Pinot Noir from vines of which the oldest were planted in 1913, spread over four parcels for a total of 2.5 ha, all representing very well situated climats. Manual harvest and work by gravity. Natural vinification without inputs and thus without sulphur, aging in cans that have seen several wines, bottling at the estate.
Jean-Louis Trapet is part of a select circle of the 10 greatest vignerons of the Côte de Nuits. His family estate, founded by his great-grandfather in 1870, is composed of around 15 hectares of the most beautiful parcels around Gevrey.
